Scratch Jr. is an introductory programming language that enables young children to create their own interactive stories and games. In the first half of this course, children will snap together graphical programming blocks to make characters move, jump, dance, sing, and more. Students will uncover the multiple functions of Scratch Jr. through various activities. In the second half of this course, students will explore Tynker. Tynker is an educational programming platform aimed at teaching kids how to make games and programs using block-based coding. Throughout a variety of activities, students will learn the ins and out of game and app development

Students will uncover the multiple functions of Scratch Jr. through various activities. In the second half of this course, students will explore Tynker. Tynker is an educational programming platform aimed at teaching kids how to make games and programs using block-based coding. Throughout a variety of activities, students will learn the ins and out of game and app development
